Hard Pack Tracks For Mini Excavators

The MA tread profile is designed for mini excavators that spend most of their time on firm, hard-packed surfaces. Built to deliver maximum stability, it performs at its best on concrete, packed gravel, and rocky terrain — the everyday conditions that compact excavators on residential builds, utility jobs, and landscaping sites deal with constantly. The tread design keeps your machine planted and predictable, whether you're digging tight trenches near a foundation or positioning on uneven compacted ground.

The MA is available in two width classes — 230mm and 300mm — with multiple pitch and link count combinations to fit a range of smaller mini excavator makes and models in the 1–3 tonne class. If you're unsure of your exact size, check the stamp on your existing track or use the track finder above.

The MA Tread Profile works best for:

  • Mini excavators in the 1–3 tonne class on compact job sites
  • Residential construction, landscaping, and utility work
  • Machines operating on concrete, compacted gravel, or rocky surfaces
  • Urban and suburban job sites where surface protection and stability matter

You may want to consider the MB profile instead if:

  • Your machine is larger and requires 400mm–450mm tracks
  • You regularly work in off-road conditions, muddy terrain, or need highway-rated performance
  • Your job site demands a deeper lug and more aggressive traction — the MB profile's heavier-duty design is built for that

MA tracks are sized in Width x Pitch x Links format. The 230mm size runs a 48mm pitch, while the 300mm sizes use a 52.5mm pitch — and pitch must match your machine's sprocket exactly. With several link count options available in the 300mm width (78 through 90 links), getting the right combination matters. Contact us if you're not certain — we'd rather take five minutes to confirm your size than have you deal with a return.
