John Deere Rubber Tracks
A John Deere with a worn-out track isn't a John Deere - it's a very expensive lawn ornament. Whether you're running a 333G on a site-prep job, a 325G on residential grading, or a 35G mini excavator trenching a waterline, every day your machine sits is a day you're paying for operators, equipment payments, and schedule slippage with nothing coming back. Canadian Rubber Tracks exists to fix that: fast, affordable replacement tracks for Canadian contractors who can't afford to wait on a dealer order or a cross-border shipment.
Every John Deere rubber track on this page is stocked in our Surrey, BC warehouse and built to OEM-equivalent specifications - same width, same pitch, same link count, same guide configuration as the tracks your Deere came with from the factory. No customs paperwork, no exchange-rate surprises, no three-week lead times. Our NOVA-brand tracks use continuous steel cord construction, forged steel embeds, and a rubber compound formulated for Canadian conditions - and they're backed by a 24-month warranty that beats what most dealers offer.
This page covers both sides of the John Deere compact lineup: compact track loaders (P-Tier, G-Series, E-Series, D-Series, and legacy CT-Series) and mini excavators (G-Series and P-Tier, 17G through 85G). Find your model below, or scroll down for help reading your track size, choosing a tread pattern, and understanding why our tracks cost 30-50% less than the dealer's.
Why Canadian Contractors Buy John Deere Tracks From Us
-
Already in Canada - no import duties, no exchange-rate shock, no border delays.
Most aftermarket John Deere tracks online ship from U.S. warehouses. By the time you add cross-border freight, brokerage, GST/HST collected at the border, and the CAD-to-USD exchange, that "deal" costs 25-40% more than the sticker price. We stock in Surrey, BC - the price you see is the price you pay, in Canadian dollars.
-
OEM-equivalent build quality at a fraction of the dealer price.
John Deere doesn't manufacture its own rubber tracks - they're sourced from rubber track plants and branded Deere. Our NOVA-brand tracks are built to the same fitment specs - same width, pitch, link count, and guide style - using continuous steel cord construction, hardened steel embeds, and a wear-resistant rubber compound. OEM-grade durability without the dealer markup.
-
24-month warranty (12 months full replacement + 12 months prorated).
If a defect in materials or workmanship shows up in the first 12 months, we replace the track outright. Months 13-24 are prorated. Most dealer-brand tracks carry 6-12 months of coverage - we double it, at a lower price.
-
Built for Canadian conditions.
Deere machines in Canada work frozen ground in February and gravel pits in July. Our rubber compound stays flexible in the cold, resists cracking through freeze-thaw cycles, and stands up to the abrasive conditions that chew through cheaper tracks.
-
Fast, economical shipping across Canada.
We ship through a Canadian logistics partner to every province and territory. Tracks are heavy - importing a pair from the U.S. can add $400-$700 in freight before duties. Shipping from Surrey to your job site is fast and predictable.

Step 2 - Choose A Tread Profile
-
C Block Tread Profile
SHOP C BLOCK TREADThe closest match to Deere's factory block tread on most CTLs and the best all-around choice for mixed-surface work. Wide rubber blocks give a smooth, low-vibration ride on concrete, asphalt, and packed gravel while still moving material in dirt and soft ground. Typically the longest service life of the three CTL profiles on mixed surfaces.
Best for: landscapers, hardscape contractors, anyone working on customer driveways, finished grade, or concrete pads.
-
BZ Tread Profile
SHOP BZ TREADThe most versatile profile in the NOVA CTL lineup - purpose-built for compact track loaders and engineered to perform across concrete, gravel, dirt, sand, mud, snow, and turf. The Z-pattern lugs bite into soft ground and self-clean better than block treads, while staying gentle on hard surfaces.
Best for: year-round operators, Canadian winters, site-prep contractors, anyone whose work changes weekly.
-
BL Tread Profile
Shop BL TreadThe heavy-duty CTL profile - for operators who push their Deere hard across the full range of surfaces. The block-lug design gives more aggressive traction than the C Block while keeping a solid contact patch on hard surfaces.
Best for: general contractors, excavation crews, mixed commercial and residential work, high-hour operators.
-
MA Tread Profile
Shop MA TreadMini excavator pattern for hard, dense surfaces - concrete, packed gravel, asphalt, rocky ground. Maximum contact patch for a stable, vibration-free platform and excellent wear life on hard ground.
Fits: John Deere G- and P-Tier mini excavators - 17G, 26G, 30G, 35G, 50G, 60G, 75G, 85G, and P-Tier equivalents.
-
MB Tread Profile
Shop MB TreadMini excavator pattern for soft, deformable ground - dirt, sand, and mud. Aggressive self-cleaning lugs bite into soft surfaces for traction on grades and in wet conditions.
Fits: John Deere G- and P-Tier mini excavators - 17G, 26G, 30G, 35G, 50G, 60G, 75G, 85G, and P-Tier equivalents.
How to Find the Right John Deere Rubber Track Size
John Deere tracks are sized using a three-number format: width × pitch × link count. A 450×86×58 track is 450 mm wide, has a pitch (centre-to-centre distance between steel links) of 86 mm, and has 58 links total.
One John Deere-specific detail: many Deere CTL track listings include a guide-lug letter between the pitch and link count - e.g., 320×86B×52 or 320×86C×52. The letter describes the shape and width of the steel guide lug that runs between the rollers. Tracks with different guide styles are not always interchangeable, even when the three numbers match. If your size includes a letter, match it - or send us your serial number and a photo of the inside of the track and we'll confirm.
Three places to find your track size:
- On the existing track itself. Most Deere tracks have the size moulded into the rubber on the inside face. Pressure-wash the track and look near the steel embeds.
- In your operator's manual. Deere lists the OEM track size in the specifications section.
- By model number. If you know your exact model (e.g., 325G, 333 P-Tier, 35G), the standard size is fixed. Use the model list above as a reference.
If your machine came used, has been retrofitted, or already runs aftermarket tracks, the size may differ from factory spec. Measure your existing track or send us a photo and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
Aftermarket vs. OEM John Deere Tracks - What's Actually Different?
A lot of buyers assume "aftermarket" means lower quality. For John Deere tracks specifically, that's not true - as long as you're buying from a supplier who builds to OEM specifications.
Genuine John Deere tracks are not made by John Deere. Deere sources them from rubber track manufacturers - in many cases the same plants that supply the aftermarket - and brands them with the Deere name. What you're paying extra for at the dealer is the brand, the dealer markup, and dealer overhead, not necessarily better rubber.
Our NOVA-brand John Deere tracks are built to the same OEM fitment dimensions, use continuous steel cord construction (not chopped), forged steel embeds, and comparable rubber compounds. They install identically, run on the same rollers and sprockets, and wear comparably. The differences are the price tag and the warranty - and we back ours for 24 months.
Want to verify? Ask your dealer the cost of a pair of 333G tracks and compare it to ours. Most of our customers save 30-50%.
Shipping John Deere Rubber Tracks Across Canada
CTL tracks are heavy - a single 450 mm Deere track runs 250-300 lb, and you usually buy two. Mini excavator tracks are lighter (60-120 lb each), but freight still matters. Cross-border shipping on a pair of CTL tracks can easily run $400-$700 before brokerage and duties - which is exactly why we stock in Canada.
We ship from our Surrey, BC warehouse through a Canadian logistics partner. BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba are usually 2-4 business days; Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes typically 4-7. We ship to every province and territory, and Lower Mainland customers can arrange warehouse pickup.
Order before our daily cutoff and most John Deere tracks ship the same day or next business day.
Our 24-Month Warranty on John Deere Rubber Tracks
Every John Deere rubber track we sell is backed by a 24-month warranty: 12 months of full replacement coverage plus 12 months prorated. If a manufacturing defect causes the track to fail in the first year, we replace it. From month 13 to month 24, you pay a prorated portion based on remaining warranty life.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage from improper installation, running with damaged rollers/sprockets, debris cuts, or running off the undercarriage - standard exclusions that apply to every track on the market, OEM included.
This is one of the longest warranties on aftermarket John Deere tracks anywhere in North America.
Frequently Asked Questions About John Deere Rubber Tracks
How long do John Deere rubber tracks last?
Most Deere CTL operators get 1,200 to 2,000 hours from a set; mini excavator tracks typically run 1,500 to 3,000 hours. Surface type is the biggest factor - grass and dirt stretch track life, concrete and rock shorten it. Operator habits matter too: sharp counter-rotations, loose tension, and a dirty undercarriage all cut track life significantly.
Are aftermarket John Deere rubber tracks as good as OEM?
If they're built to the same specs from a reputable supplier - yes. Our NOVA-brand tracks use the same fitment dimensions, continuous steel cord construction, and comparable rubber compounds to OEM. We back them with a 24-month warranty (longer than most dealer warranties) and price them 30-50% below dealer pricing.
Do 331G, 333G, and 333 P-Tier tracks interchange?
Yes - the 331G, 333G, 331 P-Tier, and 333 P-Tier all run the 450×86×58 track size, so they share the same replacement track. If you run a mixed Deere fleet, that's one SKU to stock for your biggest machines.
What's the guide-lug letter (B, C) in my Deere track size?
Some Deere CTL track sizes include a letter between the pitch and link count - e.g., 320×86B×52. The letter indicates the steel guide-lug style. Tracks with mismatched guide styles may not seat properly on your rollers even if the numbers match. When in doubt, send us your serial number and a photo of the inside of your track before ordering.
Can I install John Deere rubber tracks myself?
Yes. The basic process: park on level ground, lift the side of the machine with the boom or a jack (or the blade on a mini excavator), release tension at the track tensioner grease fitting (back it off - don't add grease), roll the old track off the sprocket and idler, slide the new one on, re-tension to spec, and lower the machine. Allow 30-60 minutes per side once you've done it. First time? Watch a model-specific video or have a mechanic do the first set.
What's the most common John Deere track size?
For CTLs, the 450×86×58 (331G/333G/P-Tier) and 320×86×52 (319/323/325G class) are our highest-volume Deere sizes. For mini excavators, 300×52.5×86 (30G/35G) and 400×72.5×74 (50G/60G) lead the pack.
Do your tracks fit both G-Series and P-Tier machines?
In most cases, yes - the P-Tier machines carried over their G-Series undercarriage dimensions, so a 333G and a 333 P-Tier take the same track. We still recommend confirming by serial number on newer P-Tier machines, especially the 335 P-Tier.
Should I buy one track or a pair?
Always buy in pairs unless one track was damaged early in its life. Running a new track opposite a 70%-worn one loads the new track unevenly, makes the machine pull slightly under load, and shortens the new track's life by 20-30%.
Do you sell John Deere sprockets, idlers, and rollers too?
Tracks are our specialty, but we can source full undercarriage kits for most Deere CTL and mini excavator models. Contact us with your model number for a quote.
Do you ship John Deere tracks to remote areas of Canada?
Yes - every province and territory. Remote and northern destinations cost more in freight because of carrier rates, but we don't add handling fees. The freight quote at checkout is the actual carrier cost.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), e-Transfer, and Net 30 terms on approved business accounts. Ask about commercial financing for fleet orders.
My John Deere model isn't on your list. Can you still get me tracks?
Almost certainly. The list above covers our highest-volume Deere tracks, but we can source tracks for nearly any Deere CTL or mini excavator, including legacy CT- and D-Series machines. Send us your model number, serial number, and a photo of your existing track, and we'll confirm fitment.
